ONEaudio Q-Bass Wireless Speaker Design

The wireless speaker is made out of 15 mm thick MDF. It’s a known speaker material that’s been proven to work. The main speaker is actually separated from the subwoofer by keeping them in acoustic chambers. This is used to avoid mixing the two sounds. The subwoofer even has a front air opening that creates a strong and focused bass. Plus it means that you can also place the speaker next to a wall. Even the electronics have a separate housing.

Besides the two Q-Bass speakers, you also get a compact console box called the Cute.box. The Cute.box is used as a communication device between your audio source and the speakers. You can connect it to a phone via WiFi or any other audio device that has wireless connection. You can even hook it up with a USB cable. And the best part, the Cute.box is compact and easy to hide. Or you can also keep it visible as it has a pleasant sleek design.

Just place the Q-Bass speakers and the Cute.box where you want and connect them to a power source. Then connect the Cute.box to a TV with an optical cable and you are pretty much done. Next connect your phone to the WiFi network generated by the console box and type 192.168.1.200 into a browser. As you see you don’t need to install any apps. This also works on a laptop as well. Next you’ll have the Cute.box home page open up and from there you’ll need to click the Optical button for it to start using your TV as the audio source. The Cute.box home page is also the place where you can configure all the settings.

If you want to play music without having to connect an optical cable to the console then you can do that from the Cute.box home page as well. However, you’ll need to keep it connected to its WiFi for that.
